Very beautiful. I like the top one best too, as it is more detailed. Still, the bottom one has a nice feel over it too!

The first one is definitely better, and dutchbitch has hit on the reason for that. While the bottom one has some more intense color, it loses all the detail and just becomes a mass of color. The first one achieves a much better balance between color and detail.
