I feel guilty though because I didn't know her. Ann Patchett is a huge author. Since I've been here, I've met her and a Pulitzer winner. I've got to start writing. I mean really writing. Now I've got to go to sleep.

how cool. My closest brush with fame has been local celebrities...
Although I have met one of the co-founders of La Leche League. She lives in Denver. She's semifamous world wide...well at least to breastfeeding mothers.
Oh and I've met Dr. Peter Hartman, & Dr Harvey Karp (he's a JERK!) Dr Hartman was very cool though...and all he asked for was that there be hot cocoa in his room...isn't that sweet?
